I have a lot of sayings I repeat a lot. I’m going to blog about all of them.

The most inspiring in the past weeks has been the one borrowed from the founder of Southwest Airlines:

We have a ‘strategic’ plan. It’s called doing things.
- Herb Kelleher

I have started to use this one in my personal and work life. Instead of just considering of doing things I start to do them. Usually it takes less energy to do a thing than to consider and hesitate doing it. This is how this blog was born: I have thought about it for a long time, but never really got into it. Well, now it feels relieved when I got it done.

I think I’ll write later more about how to Do things, but summarized: do one thing at a time, do it well and enjoy the feeling of getting it done.

And here’s a nice illustration of the sentence: http://startupquote.com/post/534823829 . By the way, it is a very inspiring site, consider reviewing.

I have had thoughts for a long time about starting a blog. I think I do have lots of thoughts to share. Well, here it is: the mighty blog of mine! For all those Finnish people who ask why I’m doing this in English: simple answer. When aiming global, one should use a global language. :) Even I’m not native English speaker nor writer – the small but beautiful language of Finnish isn’t sufficient in this case :)

Things to do:
- better layout
- photo of me
- description of me
- not being too self-critical of the content I write
- frequent writing
